Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you based?
I am based in Paris.
Our wedding is not in Paris, do you travel out of the city?
Yes, of course. I have many weddings in Normandy, Ile-de-France and other regions of France. If your wedding is abroad, I am always ready to follow you :)
Can we get to know each other before signing a contract?
Yes, with great pleasure! Moreover, the meeting does not oblige you for anything. I think that it is really important to meet and discuss, so that we see the personalities of each other before we start working together.
I always bring my tablet to show you more portfolio, as well as the example of the wedding photo album and a beautiful linen box that I give to my clients. I am always happy to discuss beyond photography: about your wedding day time plan or about the vendors you are looking for, etc.
If meeting in person is not possible, we can always do a Skype/WhatsApp meeting :)
How do you prepare to our wedding/photo shoot?
Every wedding and every couple are special and unique for me. That's why we always start from getting to know each other. I will ask you some questions about your love story, your interests, tastes so that I could understand better your personalities and show them through the photos.
We will discuss the wedding day timeline in details, which photos you want to definitely have and when we will do them. Je prepare attentively to each event, so that the day of the wedding everyone is relaxed: everything will pass as planned.
Do you photograph multicultural or even Russian, English-speaking weddings?
Yes! I adore multicultural weddings and the weddings of other cultures. I love to capture the traditions that show the differences and peculiarities of each of the country.
I speak 3 languages fluently (French, English and Russian), so this will help me to communicate to everyone on the events ( or let's say, nearly everyone: "abuelas, sorry, hablo poqito espagnol").
It is also reassuring for the guests to know that the photographer can guide them and discuss in English, Russian or French.
And how do you usually work on the wedding day?
On the D-Day I usually arrive before the beginning of the shooting, so that we can get used to each other and the guests are used to me being around.
During the ceremonies I am very discrete and I capture the story as it goes. I will need help of your witnesses or wedding planner for the group photos, otherwise I will guide you by myself. I do not use the flash, unless it's really needed or during the evening.
It will rain on the wedding day... what shall we do?

Do you take photos alone or we should hire a second photographer to accompany you?
For most of the weddings I work alone. However, it is always better to capture the day from several view points. So according to your time plan, your wishes and the number of guests, I will propose you to take the second photographer if needed.
We have chosen one of your packages, but for what does the price stand?
It can seem for the bride and groom, that the wedding universe is expensive and it's completely normal. Every vendor does not count just the hours of the services, however, also includes the price of preparation, materials, road, etc.
For a photographer, a wedding is not just 12 hours of taking photos. You should also include the time spent on the road on the wedding day, our meetings and communication, as well as several days spent to choose the best from the thousands of photos taken and the edit of the good ones. After there is also time spend on the delivery of the photos (online gallery, USB key, photo album, etc.). Moreover, you should count the price of support and update of the photo equipment (that costs several thousand euros), price for Adobe solutions, etc. Also do not forget about social charges and taxes.
Your wedding photographer is a professional that will capture and photograph the moments of such a unique day of your life forever.
How do you deliver the ready photos?
As précised on the wedding packages page, I deliver all the photos in the online gallery and on a USB key (according to the package chosen) in a beautiful linen box.
You can also order a premium photo album (that costs from 320 EUR on average).
We do not want the morning preparations of the bride/groom to be photographed, there is no reason to capture this usual moment
I always tell to all my clients that the preparations are the most tender and emotional moment of the day. I like to tell the full story of the D-Day, including this important step.
It's a moment to take photos of the details: your wedding rings, your shoes and accessories of the bride. It's a moment to capture the emotions of the bride understanding that this day already arrived, surrounded by her witnesses, friends and/or parents. It's a moment to show how she puts on her beautiful wedding dress.
I am always very discrete, even during the morning, I will capture the beginning of a new union, a new family.
Can we order a wedding album after the wedding?
Yes, while your photos are in the online gallery, you can contact me and ask to create your photo album. It's a creative process, done with lots of care. It takes around 3 weeks after the design approval, for the album to be delivered.
